It is our honor and responsibility to establish the members of our local church in handling the scriptures and understanding sound doctrine, to equip the saints for the ministry of Jesus Christ, both in the church and in the world. In doing so, in February 2026, we start our weekly Wednesdays in the Word with our First Principles Bible Study Course called LAYING THE FOUNDATION! If you call GC your home church, we strongly encourage you to be a part of this course, so that you can be established and equipped in the foundational first principles of our faith in Christ (Hebrews 6:1-3), upon which all other teaching is built. This series will include 18 lessons, and the topics covered can be viewed in the attachment to this email. Some topics include: Understanding the Bible, the Creation & Man, Satan, Sin & the Fall of Man, The Message and ministry of Jesus Christ, The Cross, Faith toward God, Water and Spiritual Baptisms, Spiritual Gifts, Financial Stewardship & Giving, The Church, The Kingdom, The Resurrection of the Dead, Difficult Passages, and Eternal Judgement. You may take this full course once or as many times. The achievement of all 18 lessons marks the completion of the entire course.
